When my Logic Pro X projects fill up with tracks then sometimes Superior drummer starts with a weird behaviour: I stop a song and after a 1 to 2 seconds there is a drum hit. Kind of like a hit it missed in the first place, probably because there was not enough CPU available and then it plays it after a long time. As if it just remembers ‘oh, I missed a beat, here it is’.
On one song it happened that Superior Drummer sometimes played a snare hit just at the beginning of a song, even though there was absolutely nothing in the midi track at that bar. Again, a song close to the limit of CPU.Then it felt like it was saying ‘sorry, I missed a snare beat earlier on, I play it now for you’.
Has anybody an idea of how to stop this behaviour? Has anybody experienced something like this as well?
Hi,
have tried with changing the Buffer size and/or the Process Buffer settings?
You’re not running Superior 2 in ‘Cached’ mode?

Yes, the trick was to load all the samples straight from the start by clicking on the “Load” button in the “Memory & Status” section of SD.
