I have Superior Drummer loaded on a laptop, and using...

I have Superior Drummer loaded on a laptop, and using a Roland TD-10 module (for triggers) with iRig Pro MIDI to USB interface.
The latency is not bad, but I’d like to improve it.
I am using the ASIO4ALL driver, iRig Pro MIDI interface, and the laptop is 4gb RAM and 2.1GHz processor.
So, is this laptop not fast enough (more RAM??) or could the iRig MIDI connection cause some lag????

Why are you going into an interface? SD3 is a midi app… Your V-drum kit is ostensibly a MIDI keyboard in this situation

• 2box module USB out
• PC/Mac USB in
• open DAW & create Midi instrument track/ Open SD3 standalone/TT Solo
• Select SD3/EZD (sound like you ll want Multi channel output)
• Select your 2Box as the midi controller in DAW
• Now you can use the focusrite Interface for output
