do you mean that you have manually moved the Superior Drummer 3 .dll file post installation? If so, this is not supported and will cause problems for you.
You either Custom install the plug-in to where you wish it to be installed or point your host (in your case Ableton) to the location of the installed .dll file.
If you haven’t moved or copied the .dll file, please elaborate on what you have tried so far, so that we may help you.
I’m not technical support here but, “worst thing ever”? I and hundreds, if not thousands of users use Superior Drummer with Ableton. I have been using it since Ableton 9 and with Ableton 10 and 11.
