Can’t you do all that you’re suggesting in SD3’s Grid Editor?

You can mute a ‘song block’ but unlike the selection and pencil tools, there’s no dedicated mute tool nor the ability to right click a selection of individual notes and mute them.

    Hi Toontrack team,

When do you plan to add notes mute in Grid editor? It is very necessary!

You can add notes, you just can’t mute them.

Has this been added yet? If not, please add me to the list who very strongly want this feature!

    Thanks,

    Peter

The ability to mute notes in the grid editor is essential.

Also, it would be very helpful to be able to select separate tools (pointer, pencil, mute) quickly and toggle between them by holding down a key temporarily. For example, if the pointer tool is the default tool, holding down “control” would temporarily enable. the pencil tool; “option” would temporarily enable the mute tool.

    Agreed— +1.

Yup, I would like to this feature added: it would speed up work flow and no longer mean, I have to duplicate a part and cut notes, so that I can compare versions whilst composing/editing.
