Superior Drummer 3 owners questions

Hey guys, I am in the process of downloading the first of the files for SD3. What don’t I need to download out of the 5 downloads files ? I will only be using this on a 2 speaker system so do I really need the files for sound surround ? what are you guys downloading to get the best results.

Hi! I just downloaded the basic install, the room mics, and the extra bleed. You do not have to download the extra bleed, room mics, or the surround sound part. The only required download is the basic library. I’m getting plenty of room sound with what I’ve downloaded. Hope this helps!

If you have space on your disk (or buy a bigger disk in the future) I suggest you try to download all installation parts – they do add a new dimension to the drums! I ended up with less need for reverb, since the room mics can be used for that (and I only mix in stereo). Further – it’s easier to make the drums sound big with all the room mics available.

Well it’s a matter of taste, but you should definitly atleast try it!
