greetings community
I bought SD3.0 and am super impressed with how easy it is to get great sounding drums, so I made a quick video comparing SD3.0 and EZD2. The point is not that EZ2 sucks in comparison…I used it happily for a couple of years. I’m a guitarist though and can’t/won’t spend a lot of time learning to coax the best sounds out of it. SD3.0 sounds great right out of the box. In this demo I did nothing but change the levels
An obvious argument for wanting Superior Drummer 3 over EZDrummer 2 is that the breadth of sound libraries in SD3 is staggering. While EZDrummer 2 gives you a core library of around 3GB, Superior Drummer 3 offers 230GB of drum sounds and libraries. The larger package doesn‘t just mean more libraries.
