suggestions for style

Hello,
I have EZ drummer, I am recording my songs in LOGIC, many of my songs have an intimate stripped down feel.
I am looking for more subtle rhythmic back up, More of a rootsy sound. Maybe Rick Ruben style on Cash, I also
have some blues tunes that need a basic blues rhythm section, I don’t seem to see that in EZ drummer, unless I am missing
that. Would Root sticks be the anwers seems like alot, any suggetions would be appreciated.

Are you talking about drum sounds or midi?
Drum sound-wise you have a decent choice…
EZX Americana springs to mind.
EZX The Classic, EZX Vintage Rock, EZX Jazz.

In addition to Chris’ suggestions, I will point out that the Roots Sticks SDX (or any SDX) will not work with EZdrummer. SDXs only operate with Superior Drummer 2.

Thanks for the response, I am just looking for a more rootsy rhythmic sound for my recordings using Logic,
I have always been a little confused as to what EZ drummer is?( which I have) are they midi files or actual Wav files?

EZdrummer is a virtual drum instrument. A multi-sampled drum collection you can play over midi.
You get a midi library with each EZdrummer product (EZX’s).
So as far as ‘style’ goes, you get drum sounds and drum grooves.
