I’m somewhat of a newbie with ToonTrack SW. I first purchased it last Nov. or Dec. I’ve got a Groove3 membership and went through Scott’s SD2 course and I signed up here and subscribed to a few forums that seemed like they might be relevant. Not a day goes by that I don’t get several e-mails from frustrated users complaining about really basic issues and raging that they’ve spent hours or days trying to find solutions. So I have to wonder…..Does ANYBODY ever bother to read the darn manual? I can pretty much figure out the answers to most of my questions by 1. Checking the Owners Manual or 2. Checking the FAQs. 3. Checking the forums.
So c’mon people. Just use some common sense. Yes, occasionally I see someone having a real issue using SD2 as a DAW plug-in and having problems with a particular articulation or configuration but most of the time it is just people whining. I hear enough of that at work. This is a great program and one of the easiest to use drum apps I’ve ever worked with. So I’m begging some of you (you know who you are) to just READ THE FREAKIN’ MANUAL before posting your problems. It will go a long way towards helping you get the most out of this excellent package.
Thanks! I’ll jump down from my soapbox now and relinquish the microphone. Rock on!
