When using EZD3 standalone, audio and MIDI can be set using that Audio/MIDI setup menu.

When using EZD3 as a plugin in a DAW audio and MIDI settings are setup in the DAW. You should be able to setup the MIDI in Studio One.

In stand alone, there’s no problem. Everything works. I just can’t figure out what I’m doing wrong when I open Studio One.

What MIDI settings have you made in Studio One?

That’s what I’m having trouble with. The Simmons Titan 50 isn’t in the drop-down menu of instruments.  I’m really not sure what to click on.

Here’s where I’m at in Studio One.

Ok. I’m unclear on where you’re having trouble.

Can you open EZD3 instrument in Studio One? Can you assign MIDI I/O on the EZD3 instrument track? Have you tried another other drum plugin with your edrum in Studio One? Have you watched any Studio One YouTube tutorials on how to set up MIDI with an Edrum?

Thanks for bearing with me, Scott.

I’m able to open EZD3 in Studio One. I can drag it onto a track, but nothing is recognized between the kit and Studio One. If I hit a drum, there’s no sound and you can’t see the drum that’s being hit on the screen.  There’s nothing that I can see that I can assign in the I/O section.

In stand alone mode, it works perfectly.  It’s when I open up Studio One and drag it onto a track where it doesn’t work. I’m using the printer cable to USB -b to my computer.

What’s weird is that there is also a midi out cable on the back of the Titan module.

I’ve watched countless hours of tutorials.
