Steven Slate Presets Tom light ?

Is it just me, or are the toms in these presets really quiet ?

I’m also getting a non-triggering kick sample in “Radio Rock”. At least I think I am, as I can see the X-drum triggering, but not the kick.
I assume it’s a layering thing ?
If so, its not working for me.

Gotta love those snares though 🙂

mmmm thats funny because I just got the steven slate preset and I really dont like it. The toms were pretty loud but had wwwaaayyy tooo much bass. Im mixing my first full length albumn Church of a Thousand Sorrows and im having trouble mixing the toms because they sound too Hollow. I figured this preset would help but doesnt. Is it set up for the 5 piece kit I created a Custom kit not sure if that had anything to do with it.
