I use EZD2 by creating drum parts and exporting the wav file to my Tascam DP-32SD.
When looking at the mixer screen in EZD2 it appears that some of the channels are mono (single bar jumping up and down) and some are stereo (two L/R bars jumping up and down).
Yesterday, for the first time, I exported the individual “tracks/stems” one at a time so I can have more control once in the DAW. I noticed that the Tascam sees the “mono” channels a stereo. So what is seen in the EZD2 mixer screen as a single channel actually takes up two tracks in my DAW.
Why is that?
Hi,
the output from EZdrummer 2 will always result in a stereo file, even though you may only have mono source material coming out of it.
If it’s mono and you only want one track, just split it.
