Exkeys or ezd2 in standalone mode won’t allow other programs such as media player or anything trying to use the audio device. the exclusive box is not checked in the windows settings for either ezd2 or ezkeys.
Any ideas?
I use a Mac nowadays, but I used to run a PC before. I think I solved that problem by using Asio4All driver, instead of the built in Windows driver. Have you tried that?

I did a google search and saw some posts about dedicated ASIO multi client software – some ASIO drivers don’t seem to be compatible with simultaneous audio sources.
If you like to investigate further, Google: asio multi client. Maybe some of our other forum users have more insight on this matter?
