Standalone Mode (EZ Drummer & Superior Drummer)

Hi Toontrack. First of all, just want to say I love your products. Triggering EZ Drummer 2 with my electronic drums has made drumming way more enjoyable than any drum module I’ve used. I’m pretty much addicted to it. One of the things I love about both EZ Drummer 2 and Superior Drummer is that they are available in standalone mode. I’m not a DAW guy, so this is perfect for me. So my question is, will these products always be available in standalone mode? I really hope you never get rid of this feature because I would be in trouble if you did. I love how simple it is. I would appreciate a response on this. Thanks!

Hi,

though I’m just a Technical Advisor and not a Toontrack official spokesperson, I can only say that it wouldn’t make much sense revoking the standalone capabilities of these products. As for future iterations of them, I can’t say and Toontrack never comment on possible future releases.

I wouldn’t worry about it, you just keep making music 😉
