Apparently, there’s a core ‘bug’ with using the SSD drive for Superior Drummer 3 that dictates that both the drive name AND the root folder of the drive be specifically named and not altered.
Drive name MUST be called: SL-SD3 SSD
Root directory MUST be called: SL-SuperiorDrummer3
If you rename the drive or the root directory of the drive, the program will fail to locate the sounds library, even when you specify the directory manually. This is pretty infuriating and the very definition of poor program design. Why force or even ALLOW users to manually specify a drive and directory name if the names of both are set in stone???
Users must be allowed to rename both the SSD drive and the root directory of the drive to whatever they want with no restriction. This is not a difficult problem to solve.
Off to an extremely frustrating start.

Thanked by: Goat60It is odd as the drive hosting my superior Drummer samples is named “SSD-Sample 1” sub folder “Toontrack” > “Superior”. As far as I know the only directory that must be specifically named, is where the “Superior Drummer 3” library is located, as you’ve noted “SL-SuperiorDrummer3”
