Hello all! This is my first post here.
I just recently got my copy of EZDrummer and Sonar 8. I’m very new to this type of recording (all on the computer). All of my previous recordings were done using an MR8 digital recorder and using PCDrummer to write my drum tracks and then exporting from PCDrummer as WAVES and importing them into my MR8.
My first question is, can you export WAVES from Sonar 8 in the same manor? I plan to read through the manual but have been working a lot.
Second question; I do plan to start doing all of my recording on my computer, so I’m looking for a low budget but good sound card for my PC. I’ve already broke the bank and if I try to spend any more BIG bills on this, I will prolly be divorced. Any suggestions?
Hi cfh,
1 – yep you can export WAV files from SONAR. Chech the help file – it’s easy.
2 – you could do a lot worse than picking up a cheap Maudio Delta44 or 66 or Audiophile card on ebay.

Reaper 7 x64 (latest version), Windows 11 Pro 64 bit, AMD Ryzen 3950x, 32GB RAM, MSI MAG X570 Tomahawk Wifi mobo (not using wifi though), NVIDIA GEForce GT710 video card, MOTU Ultralite AVB audio interface
Gotta 2nd mr braner’s opinions, with the host of gear we’ve used and had access to I still fondly remember this little unknowing PCi card was as a solid as a rock.
