Hi,
It was suggested that I get the Songwriter Midi Pack, in addition to the Songwriters Fill Pack that I purchased. I’m having an increasingly difficult time finding basic grooves for hit songs that I’m building drum tracks to. For example, I started programming the song by Roy Orbison, “You Got it” and couldn’t find an appropriate groove. The drum groove for the song goes: snare hit on first beat of bar and double snare hits (eighth note followed by sixteenth note sixteenth rest) on third beat of the same bar with single bass drum hits on each beat.
It was suggested to get the Songwriters Midi Pack but I don’t know which one to get for this type of groove. Also, I’m looking for a groove that has snare hit on each quarter note of 4/4 bar. Four snare hits in a four beat bar. Again, another standard groove featured in many hit songs.
thanks
Jon Henri
Tap2Find will search all of your current downloaded MIDI packs and all of the other MIDI packs available from Toontrack’s Web Shop
if you enable “Show Web Shop MIDI” on the SEARCH tab in EZDrummer2.
You can hear any matches to any pattern that you tap or drag into the the Tap2Find window.
Be sure to display the “Library” column in the Results window to reveal the MIDI package(s) containing your favorite matches.
Pages 13-14 of the EZDrummer2 Operation Manual explain and illustrate in better detail than I.
10.4 is no longer supported by Toontrack. This means that the newest version of EZDrummer 1 that are required for the current downloads of EZX’s will not work on 10.4 and therefore neither will the EZX’s.
