hello all, this fourm is amazing. i just wanted to say that real quick. i have been studying this forum and others, and was going to build my own edrum set. i noticed on ebay a drumset made by yoki called a dd908. i won it for 204 dollars. i like the way it looks, but i want to change it to mesh heads. there is one issue with it, when you hit the crash or the ride cymbals you can hear the toms quietly. is there anyway to build some sort of shock absorber to stop this. also there is only a crash cymbal, ride and a high hat, and 3 toms. i would like to add a chimes trigger, a bass drop trigger like korn uses, another tom and a cymbal or two. the module has no more inputs available, is there a way to buy the alesis io and connect via midi to add more inputs. the main purpose of this drumset is recording, and we have superior 2.0 so thats why i really dont want to spend alot of money on a new module cause i really dont care for they sounds they have. they will all just be a midi trigger. thanks.
