hey guys,hope you can help.
ive have managed to get cubase 5 to acknowledge that ezdrummer 2 demo is onboard and ive gone into VST instruments and clicked on it to open it up but then it says ‘locate the sound files’ which ive gone into the last place i added it to the plug in list c:/programfilesx86/vst/toontrack/ezdrummerdemo.dll.
but it just doesnt seem to do anything…can someone tell me the name of what it is im looking for?
i managed to get this far..but now im a bit stuck lol.
also,i havent got a midi keyboard so i havent set a midi file,is it possible to still play on ezd2 via cubase without one i assume it is cos thats what i been doing on the ezd2 program.
oh yeah i love the sound of them drums they sound really great.
just need a bit help getting going…
thanks guys.
Hi,
the sound files would be located in ‘C:/ProgramFiles(x86)/CommonFilesToontrack/EZDrummer’.

Hi.
ive checked and for some reason ive not got the file name suggested above in ’86’ c drive.which im sure is 32bit.
yet i definitely added the 32bit file in the plug in manager page in cubase.
64 bit folder is there but it wont accept it.
so im wondering where this file is exactly.
i didnt change any default installation paths etc.
this is the 2nd attempt at installing the whole program, which i thought i uninstalled and deleted it the other day to start from scratch so to speak.yet in downloads one of the ezd2 files is 4.7 gb which i think is too large as the original d.load was only 2.2gb if i recall.
any suggestions??
I cant find my soundfiles to EZ drums 2, checked all abowe but no luck. What is the name of the file so i can searh for it. Using cubase 7.5//
Hi Dan Wande,
please see this FAQ for locating the ‘EZdrummer’ folder:
