I’m using a Roland TD-6V with EzDrummer, and Cymbal Choke works fine in Toontrack Solo, but as soon as I host in CuBase 7.5, everything except Choke works.
I’ve recorded and instrument track and all the PolyPressure/Aftertouch events are being recorded in CuBase, both the Ons and Offs, exactly the same as I can see through Midi Ox when I play to Toontrack Solo. So the events are getting into CuBase, it just looks like not to EzDummer.
I’ve tried a different VST in CuBase that uses aftertouch and that seems to pass the events through to the instrument BUT that device shows as “Channel aftertouch” in midi OX whereas the drum kit shows as “Key aftertouch” so not exactly the same events in each case.
I’ve posted on the Steinberg forum as well in case anyone there knows the magic handshake to make it work, but I wondered if anyone here has discovered the magic.
