Hey.
I’ve looked around here and other e-drum places that discusses Superior Drummer. But I can’t really find what I’m looking for.
I use a Roland td15-kv muted all the Roland trigger sounds on a “silent” profile, snare buzz on the module is off from what I can see. I don’t get sounds off the module if SD2 is closed.
My problem is that my rack tom get’s a really heavy snare buzz sound when hit medium hard to hard. I don’t mind toms triggering snare buzz but is there a setting for buzz anywhere in SD mixer or something?. I’ve tried to flip some of the knobs and stuff but no luck :). Tried to move the rack tom away from the snare in case it was too close and vibrations caused it, but same issue. I’m not big on music programs overall so acronyms for mics and such says nothing to me ^^. I use the solo program.
Second question might have been answered all ready somewhere. But I can’t really find it.
Cymbals have a crash and a choke. sure works just fine. But cymbals, at least the ones I use are dual trigger. Choke isn’t part of the dual trigger mechanism from what I understand. I think it’s called rim and edge? SD can only trigger edge and not rim? The ride works fine with bell, rim and edge no problems there.
Thanks.
For your first question, please go to the Tools Settings menu and deselect ‘Bottom wire snares’. Not possible for all Libraries but most.
Your second question is also Library dependent.
Some libraries have only Crash and Mute articulations, some libraries have Edge and Bow whereas e.g. the Roots has got 6 different articulations for the Crash Cymbals.

Hey.
Thanks for the reply. Doh I’ve been in there and fiddle with drumsticks.. can’t believe I missed that :p
And for the cymbal, ok it’s all dependent on the recording itself not the capabilities of the program great stuff. Thanks.
