In SD3, is there a way to set the “Voice and Layers” options to infinite by default? It makes the drums much more realistic and is a huge pain to adjust for each individual drum piece each time you load a new kit
Hi,
not a setting per se but you can select all instruments that you wish to set to ‘unlimited’ and then do your adjustments to all in one go.
If you save as Default project, it will be included in the Default recall. If you switch out instruments, the Voice and layers settings will still be active, however switching Presets and/or Libraries will recall what was stored in the preset loaded.
If you wish to quickly select all instruments to remove layer limits, just start with selecting the Kick in the Instrument selection drop-down and then shift+click the last instrument in the list. Then just drag down to ‘-‘ in the Voice and Layer property box. Should take about 5 seconds.
