Would it be possible to include in an update of Superior Drummer a searchable database that will find individual pieces of kit from all the TT libraries; one’s I own and those I don’t?
For example, if I want to find what snare’s are available to me I open the GUI for the searchable database from within SD2 and under the heading “Snares” I can find every snare that Toontrack has to offer from every library using the same description from their respective “details” page. The snare entries will indicate all the SDX & EZX libraries in which they are included. For any snare that I don’t own the entry is greyed out but still listed (for the sake of marketing and sales go ahead and include a link for purchasing the missing SDX or EZX).
Whenever a new SDX or EZX is released a small downloadable update could add those pieces of kit to the SD2 database.
In one of your “Making Of” videos the camera follows the crew into the studio’s drum locker and it occurred to me how nice it would be to have a searchable virtual drum locker.
