SD3 / SDX Support for Roland Digital Pad CC

Hi,

I’m considering purchasing SD3 for control via Roland TD-50. As you are no doubt aware, for the digital ride pad, the module transmits CC data corresponding to strike position on the bow, which allows for a great deal of articulation based on bow strike position.

I was wondering what support SD3 has for the positional data associated with these digital triggers and what sort of resolution the currently available sample packs have regarding positional articulations for ride and snare?

There’s currently 3 articulations, center, off-center and edge on the snare controlled by CC16 and they work perfectly, as for the ride, you’ll have 2 bow articulations, bow shank and bow tip controlled by CC18 and they work excellent as well, now we just need support for the digital Hihat postional sensing data.
