Hi,
I’m using Alesis strike pro with SD3 thru USB to my laptop. The problem I’m having is that it seems to be impossible to trigger the loudest articulations with my edrums even though SD3 registers velocity at 127. If I select a midi groove the articulations it use are much louder and more pronounced, sounding a lot better then using my edrums to trigger. The edrums can’t seem to trigger any articulations higher than about half the maximum, even though SD3 registers 127 velocity. Anyone having this problem?
Hi,
one way to go about it is to work with the Sensitivity and Velocity Curve in your module.
The other way is to go into the MIDI In/E-drums settings and select all articulations and edit the Velocity Curve until you feel that the response is better.
BR,
John
