I’d likely be happy with EZD2 if remapping of kit pieces were implemented. But I’m sure I’ll enjoy some of SD3’s other additional features And the percussion SDX looks like a winner. Anyway…
I’ve searched and learned that all the EZD2 kits & MIDI will work with SD3. What I wasn’t able to clarify is what I’d be gaining/losing. So a few questions:
SD3 v3.3.6, EZbass v1.1.7, EZkeys v1.3.4
Studio One v5.5.2, Cubase v12.0.60
3.6GHz Intel i9 iMac, 64GB RAM, OS 12.6.1
Hi BezO
1 – You will have control over individual mapping, velocity curve, envelope, pitch FX, reverse, bleeds in microphones, etc. as you would with SDX drums
2 – No, the EZX processed files are what they are. You get no other samples but the FX applied in the EZ mixer can be disabled or changed.
3 – No
