I’d likely be happy with EZD2 if remapping of kit pieces were implemented. But I’m sure I’ll enjoy some of SD3’s other additional features And the percussion SDX looks like a winner. Anyway…
I’ve searched and learned that all the EZD2 kits & MIDI will work with SD3. What I wasn’t able to clarify is what I’d be gaining/losing. So a few questions:
- I understand the EZD2 kit will sound the same in SD3, but how much additional control would I have over the sound? Are EZD2 kits limited to EZD2 editing/mixing or will I have full SD3 control?
- Following up #1, for example, can I undo the mix processing of an EZD2 kit with SD3 and hear the raw recordings?
- Do the answers to the above change if I’m using a EZD2/SD3 hybrid kit?
