I’m working with odd time signatures in Logic, and would like to try sequencing my drums in SD3’s grid editor. Unfortunately, SD3’s time signatures don’t automatically sync with Logic’s time signature, which is especially problematic with time signatures like 13/16 or changing time signatures. For those of us working with shifting and odd time signatures, an update that would cause SD3 to sync to the host’s time signature would be most welcome, as would more time signature options in SD3’s grid editor. Thanks!
Unfortunately plugins (like Superior Drummer 3) can’t get information about what time signature the DAW is using. The only info they get is the tempo.
You can export the time signature from Logic and import it into Superior Drummer 3 so the time lines match up.
