Please can someone advise. If I purchase the optional SSD with all the sounds preinstalled, do I still have to pay the full price for SD3? If the answer is yes, then could someone explain why it is necessary to pay twice for the same sound library. This seems very unfair and extremely greedy!!
Is there no option to buy SD3 software only to work with the SSD drive?
Thanks
Jon

Thanks for the reply. I’m still not sure I ununderstand. My reason for wanting to purchase the SSD drive is due to space on my existing system not download issues. If I purchase the full SD3 and the SSD this is going to cost me almost 600USD AND I will still have 2 sound libraries (1 with SD3 and the same one on SSD) but will only use 1. Is this correct? Yes or No will do.
For someone whose system cannot load an additional 200gb of data the SSD drive is NOT optional but a necessity.

The SSD option is a means of delivery only. It does not come with any
license to use what’s on the drive. You need to buy SD3 for that.

Well, you don’t really have to buy our drive. You can buy one yourself
and download and install the library onto it. But, yes, part of the idea
with the SSD option is to help people out in this situation by supplying
a pre-installed SSD drive that will deliver great performance just as soon
as it is plugged in.
