hi,
this is a very basic question, please be kind to me 🙂
i am waiting for my td-12 to arrive within the next days, i purchased SD lately.
i am going to turn off local control in my midi settings, so far so good.
does that mean that every triggering parameter which is set in the roland module, something like rim gain, threshold and so on are beeing ignored and just a simple trigger signal is being sent to SD on my computer?
if so, my question would be how can SD adjust the triggering behavior which is done in the roland module by a lot of complex parameters..?
thank you
Hi,
pad settings would be affecting the MIDI data being sent. Local OFF just bypasses the routing to the internal sounds and will likely yield a slightly snappier response from Superior 2.
The Superior 2 plugin has means to adjust the incoming MIDI data.

John
