SD 3.0 and iOS App

Hi-

Just trying to find out if there is a reason that SD 2.0 has not been updated to 3.0 since its release? Not sure but I think it hasn’t been updated in about 6 years.

Also, why isn’t there an iOS version yet? This would be incredibly handy for electronic drummers looking to take SD2.0 to a gig on an iPad. I keep getting update emails from you, which is great, but usually they’re some producer presets or something.

Been waiting years for an update to 2.0 – any idea if there is one in the making? Surely you know the live electronic drum market is a wide open gap for you to fill. Getting SD on an iPad or other rack mountable device would be killer. Roland TD-30 is currently the best thing on the market and SD craps all over the TD-30’s sounds.

SuperiorDrummer2 has had a number of updates, especially in 2014 & 2015.
I also think that it is still a very forward-thinking program, as is.
We’ve been using it in our studio with the Roland TD-30 for a few years now.
We also own & use EZDrummer2 as a songwriting tool to create the MIDI that we use to trigger SuperiorDrummer.

Regarding an iVersion, what peripherals do you anticipate using for sound output? and for triggering the drums?
The beauty of Toontrack products is their velocity-dependent, layered sounds.
SuperiorDrummer sound libraries clock in well over 15GBs each due to the quantity of diverse sounds being triggered.

hey for me it was working smooth on my iPad Pro when it was running on ios 10 however as I have updated to ios 11.3 whenever now I am opening the app it only loads a blank screen on the start up and crashes after a while automatically. How do I fix it?
