    Hi,

do you mean that the used Preset name isn’t ticked in the Preset list?
I’m not sure if the Pro Tools Session ever saved that part of the plugin info, especially if you made any tweaks to one, which per se would mean it isn’t the Preset originally loaded.
The plugin state is correctly saved though and yes, the Notes part of the S2 track would be a great place to enter such info. I would have.

I will investigate if it could be possible to implement something and if it is, add it to the Requests list.

    Best Regards,
    John

    Hi,

our presets are not modes of the sampler they are just templates
that set a large number of parameters in one go. Once applied
they have no further influence on the state of the project.
After that, both the project and the preset, in question, may
    change.

Let’s say you find a really good mixer set up and save it as a preset
and then use it in 4 projects. You then tweak the mixer a bit in
one of them and it gets even better so you save it and
update your preset. This does not update the other 3 projects
    in any way.

If you open up one of the other projects, decide to test
another preset and then want to go back to the original, then
you can not do so by applying the preset with the same name.
If you do, you will get the new updated mix. Instead, if you
want to test some presets but still want to be able to go back
to the current state then you should save a new user preset
    right before starting to experiment.

Just as users may change or remove their presets we reserve
the right to change/remove our factory presets in order
    to improve our products.

I hope this answers your questions,
    John
