I set a song aside for about a year – made some changes to the drums and created a new wav file (24 bit). My Tascam workstation would not allow me to import the wav. So I used an online tool to analyze the file and it says it’s a 24 bit, **48.0 kHz file. I’m 99.9% certain that all of my previous files – for years – have been 24 bit, 44.1 kHz.
Am I crazy??? How can this be?
Thanks in advance – I’ll check back later.
**Update: – sure enough – I analyzed the older wav’s from this project and they show 44.1 kHz.
I believe you cannot control the sample rate in EZD2 standalone. It is dependent on what your computer or audio interface’s sample rate is and will change accordingly.

Thanked by: Bxcowboy and Jimi Ray ClaptonWell, I hear you. I had already understood that any and all wav’s – for many years – that I created for export have been 44.1 kHz with the option to choose 16 or 24 bit depth. I’m using the same computer and the firmware of my Tascam has not changed.
Weird.
What does Settings >Audio/MIDI Setup > Audio Device show as? I just created a 24 bit .wav file and imported it into a 44.1kHz Studio One session (Presonus Quantum interface).
