Hello everyone,
Sorry this newbie question…
I plan on using Superior Drummer 2 and record all my other tracks at 96khz/24bit (because I’m using plugins that sound better at that rate, no aliasing), but my question is… Is that okay? I believe I read that SDX is sampled at 44.1/24bit, so I’m just wondering if I’m losing any quality going to 96khz? Or should I use 88.2khz? Does the up-sampling affect the quality? I know it won’t improve it, but I wanna maintain the same quality.
Thank you for your help!
Hi,
there will be no sound degradation running @96kHz.
