Roland TD1KV…cymbal chokes

Hi guys, Bought this kit about a month ago, and have got it to basically map with most of my drum software (superior, ez2, bfd 3, addictive 2 and groove agent 4) now my question is i can get it to cymbal choke in standalone in ez 2 but not in a daw situation, any ideas, i am using studio 1 v2… btw have not tried any others in standalone as im not in good health at mo. thanks. Ade…btw2.. I know its not the best e-drums in the world but it fits in my space…

Studio 1 is problematic as a host for e-drummers since it doesn’t
handle aftertouch(poly pressure), which is the MIDI message
that conveys the muting to the drum sampler.

Thanks so much for this thought i was going crazy, would sonar x3 be ok for this as i have this daw as well…thanks . Ade

Yes Sonar can handle aftertouch. You might have to choose that
special text only interface if you want to see and edit them, though.
