Hi – If I wanted to keep as many as possible of the TD-10’s hi-hat variations (cc4) and positional sensing variations on the snare and ride cymbals (cc16 and cc17) … which EZD 2 kit would be the one I want?
Though I generally prefer acoustic sounding kits, this question is really about which kits, acoustic OR electronic, have the most articulations for high hat opening positions, and positional sensing variations on the snares and rides.
Thanks!
Hi – maybe another way to ask is which kits have the most hi-hat and snare/ride positional variations/articulation?
Thanks!
I’m puzzled why no mods have answered here. It would be a big help to me to know this so I can start building a Cubase drum map as soon as I activate an EZDRUMMER 2 trial.
I would guess that the Modern Kit that ships with EZD 2 has the most hi hat articulations out of all EZXs. Not as many as any S2 library. If you’re an edrummer that is worried about the upmost of articulations and playability with edrums, I would recommend S2.
As I’ve said before, you should really try the EZD2 demo and it will answer most of your questions about what is best for you.
