Hi. I have a Roland HD-1 (https://www.roland.com/fr/products/hd-1/), that’s an old E-drum with only 10 kits so I’m wondering about buying EzDrummer 2. I downloaded the free trial to make sure everything is ok with my setup but it’s not. Nothing happened on EzDrummer 2 when I play on my Roland. Please note that I spend some time trying to solve the problem so I hope it is not a dumb question you can solve in two minutes with the right keywords on Google.
Here is my conclusions :
I tried a lot of different things : replace MIDI IN by MIDI out, change settings, … but nothing works. I suppose that my MIDI to USB cable is working because it is recognized by the software (see figure attached). I also assume that HD-1 E-drum support MIDI output according to the documentation (see page 21 : https://static.roland.com/assets/media/pdf/HD-1_r_e2.pdf).
So, does anyone ever face a similar situation ? Any ideas (expect getting a more recent E-drum…) ?
Thank you for reading.
