Rock Expansion pack

Two people have told me that they bought rock expansion pack, and a notice told them that
they needed an updated version regualr ez drummer.

Is this true, and what kind of nonsense is this? having to update to GET an update?

Should I not buy this now?

It is always recommended (and required in some instances) that you are running the latest version of EZdrummer before installing expansion packs.

ok I bought it, not happy with how the fills from regular ez drummer sound machine gun like in the rock expansion pack,
also how what was a crash cymbal in regualr is a ride or a tom in the expansion.

Love how the kits sound, but I sure as hell dont want to put the hours upon hours in to convenrting these drums into a useable form for the expansion pack
