Hi,
When I hit my rim with regular velocity I get a sidestick sound. When I hit my rim with max velocity I used to get a rimshot sound. I was fiddling with stuff a week or so ago so I’m pretty sure I did this, even tho I wasn’t messing with the snare. I was messing with microphones and a new ezx pack. No matter what I do, I cannot get it back.
I dug in about a year ago got everything set up awesome and pretty much left everything alone so now I forget how I set this up. Even tho I dont think I did set this up, I think it just worked as soon as I installed Roots sticks.
Any help is aprectiated. I’d rather not do a reset and select Roland kit in the midi presets if possible. I used that but set the hi hat myself. It took awhile but it’s perfect still and I’d like to keep it that. Lol but if I have to I will.
Thanks
Matt
Hi,
didn’t you just apply the Sidestick/Rimshot MIDI Node Preset? It splits between the two articulations at velocity 80 on note #40.
