Hello out there!
I just decided that I want to buy Superior Drummer 3 until I checked that 4 GB of RAM is required. Unfortunately my Macbook Air from 2011 only has 2GB of RAM. I probably will have my money together for a new Laptop in half a year. Now the question raises for me whether I can allready buy the Software and use it on my Macbook until I get my new Laptop or whether it will not work at all.
I assume its no problem you reinstall the SD3 software on a new Laptop again, right?
Looking forward to your help!

Hey Robin,
If you want to be on the safe side, wait until you meet the system requirements. The default kit in Superior 3 uses around 1 GB, but there are many presets that use much more than that. Also remember that your 2 GB system memory is shared between all your applications and the operating system too, so if your projects are already big or you have many applications or plugins running, there may not be room for Superior Drummer.
That said, waiting will give you time to look more in-depth what Superior 3 can offer you. Maybe the new sound you’re looking for is already available for you in an EZX? Superior can load EZX libraries just fine, so if you decide to plunge into the Superior line farther in the future you won’t have wasted your money.
