I would love to see the Toontrack products implement the ARA2 protocol that Melodyne (and others) now use.
Some of the benefits I can imagine are:
- Share Chords from the DAW Chord Track straight into EZkeys or EZbass without having to manually input
- Sync the timeline with the DAW host — If your working within say SD or EB in the grid, you could click on the timeline and the host would respond also, so your not always jumping back to the host to replay or loop sections etc
- Tracker in Superior Drummer could pull the required file straight from the host
