There are several plugins that I use that have the A/B comparison function. Line6 Helix Native just got this in the update released today.
During the time I am mastering my 2 albums, my GF and I have often wanted EZ Mix2 to have an A/B comparison function. We use EZ mix as part of our mastering chain, and have had a few instances where we wanted to quickly switch between a few presets of it without having to reset the parameters manually each time. Sure you can set them as favorites, but that will lead to a lot of (not exactly favorite) entries in the favorite folder. This is why I think an A/B comparison function could really be useful in EZ Mix.
Hell you could even add a C, have it an A/B/C Comparison. Although I would be more than happy with just A/B.
