SD3 – Custom Groove colors / renaming Groove name displayed in Tracks

Hi.  Custom groove colors in the track arrangement needs to be a thing.  Tying the colors arbitrarily to “Verse”, and “Chorus” is pretty limiting.  Also, we need to be able to customize the groove name displayed in Tracks.  Currently, it only shows the power hand eg. “Hats Open 2”.  That is useful info but for composition’s sake, let us rename it to something that works better.

Right click on Groove in Song Track, go to Song Part.

The method described above only allows the user to select a pre-paired color/song part category.  My request would allow the following:

1. Add a user-defined name to the Groove.  This would be in addition to the power hand and song part notations that currently exist.
2. Allow the user to select a color of their choice for the Groove
3. Allow the user to re-define the song part used on the Groove (eg. “Pre Chorus 2”, “Verse 2”, etc.)

No worries, Shootie – I appreciate your response.  It helps to narrow down the fact that I hadn’t specified that my request is for SD not EZD.
