Registering EZX With Only EZDrummer 2

Hi, im looking at buying EZDrummer 2 along with the Metal Machine EZX in the coming weeks, my understanding is that the EZX cannot be registered to my account without having a copy of EZDrummer 1 registered to the account, will i be able to register Metal Machine with only EZDrummer 2 on my account or will i have to buy EZDrummer 1 for it to be aloud?

Thanks for the response Scott, I bit the bullet anyway and bought a copy of EZDrummer 1 and Metal Machine so that i could get the free upgrade to EZDrummer 2, extremely excited and cannot wait for the release.
