regarding cab emulation in EZ Mix 2

hello… i am interested in recording bass and guitar direct using the cab emulators in EZ Mix 2… however, what I want to know is, do i need to use any mixing presents on the track i record afterwards, or are the cab emulations already “pre-mixed”, so to speak?

What I actually do is use my 5150 send jack and send it to the interface. After that, I play the riffs that I want to record. You can then put a guitar impulse in the insert of your channel to emulate a guitar speaker.
