Hello,
I have spent a number of hours attempting to record midi from my DTXPlorer Ekit to EzPlayer Pro. I have selected DTXPlorer from the “wrapper”(?) list and pressed the record button on the first track and pressed the record button at the bottom. I hit my kit and can see the blue midi lighting up on each hit at the top of the interface of EZPlayer Pro. I see the track turn blue as if it’s recording, but…. no midi notes are there. I end the recording and there is nothing. How does one record midi from an ekit to EZplayer Pro. By the way, I open EZPLayer Pro via EZDrummer. Is EZPlayer Pro not able to record midi notes like this?
I just want to play my drums and record the midi notes. Is that asking too much? lol
Thanks!
David

No, EZplayer Pro does not record MIDI like a sequencer (DAW) does. You need a host like Reaper, Cubase, Pro Tools, etc. to record MIDI from your e-drum kit.

oh. we’ll, that’s a real bummer. My DTXplorer doesn’t map correctly in Pro Tools for some reason. I just wasted my money on EZPlayer Pro. Who do I contact regarding a refund? I have no use for this software.
Thanks for the response, Scot.
