Hi everyone. I can’t seem to figure out how to change a snare hit to a rimshot on an existing groove inside EZD2. Do I need to pull the MIDI into my DAW then edit it there? I would really prefer to be able to assign the rimshots to specific grooves before having to export to my DAW. Thanks in advance to whoever can answer my question.
I’m also wondering this. Am I missing something right in front of me or is this an easy process?
Select your desired drum blocks to edit, then open Edit Play Style. Right-click on the drum and change articulation, etc. Hopefully this helps.
When I do this it does all the snares in the groove. I only want specific hits – am I doing something wrong please thank you
Go into the grid editor, select the individual hits you want to change, then drag them from “snare center” to “snare rimshot”.
