    Hi,

I don’t have the EZdrummer 2 Demo on the computer I am working on at the moment but I do have Reason 10 and I am running the full EZdrummer 2 product without any problems.
Can you launch the EZdrummer 2 Demo in standalone?
Is Reason’s Advanced Preferences set to include the path where the Demo’s VST is installed?

    BR,
    John

Yes it runs in stand alone. Do I tell ezd2 where to go or do I tell Reason where it is? I’m kinda new and confused.
Where did you install your ezd2?

    Hi,

I installed to Default location, to my system VST folder and Reason just picked it up, so I actually didn’t do anything.
In the Reason 10 Preferences > Advanced, you can see the path(s) where Reason 10 looks for VST’s.

I know this is an old thread, but i’ve tried everything i’ve read anywhere and still cannot find any way to get EZD2 to show up in the VST folder in Reason 10.

i’ve added the EZD2 folder location to the R10 Advanced tab, and i’ve tried placing EZD2 in the C:/Program Files/VST Plugins folder, but it just never shows up as an option or VST in Reason 10 windows.

Everything else works perfectly.  Any ideas are greatly appreciated.

    thank you!

What is the original EZD2 plugin install path (before you moved it)?

    it’s still here

    C:\Program Files\Toontrack\EZdrummer

i also coped it to here

    C:\Program Files\VSTPlugIns\EZdrummer

i should see it below the instruments and effects in R10, right?

If the path is set properly in the Preference section, it should show up in the Instruments section in reason

    C:\Program Files\Toontrack\EZdrummer

It’s possible. It depends on if it’s a default path or a custom path.

    Toontrack defaults to C:\Program Files\VstPlugins\Toontrack

Or it might install to an already existing VST location.

Is there an ezdrummer.dll in your folder location? Does the EZD2 standalone work? What is the install path for the standalone (you can see from Help>Show Plug-in Path in EZD2 standalone).
