I read another post in here concerning REAPER and using a midi-editor. I can drag the midi-info from EZ2 but I can’t grab from REAPER and put into EZ2. I’m also having trouble hearing the “snatched” midi if I put it on another track. Which also means that none of the changes that I make in the editor are audible.
Any suggestions for what I need to do, or may be doing incorrectly?
The problem is that some DAWs won’t let you drag and drop MIDI from the DAW. You can find out if it’s possible by trying to drag a MIDI clip from your DAW to your desktop. If that’s possible then you can drag MIDI to EZdrummer 2. If it’s not possible, then there is nothing we can do about it, since it’s up to the DAW manufacturers to implement that feature.
However, one workaround – in the cases where it doesn’t work – is to record arm EZdrummer 2, and put the MIDI on the EZdrummer 2 MIDI track in the DAW. When you press play, EZdrummer 2 will record the MIDI played from the DAW, and will end up on EZdrummer 2’s song track.

To move MIDI from Reaper to EZdrummer 2 you need to hold Ctrl+Alt (on Windows) while you drag the MIDI item.
