Ok so my drummer is using a Yamaha Dtxplorer. I have connected this with a midi cable to my Edirol UA25-ex. This then connects to my PC. I am using Cubase SX3. When he records i can see all the notes but when I play back there is no sound? Im guessing that this is because the drum map is not configured? How do i go about this with EZdrummer?
Many thanks guys!
ok *update* I can now hear sounds but not all of them are correct, the hi-hat closed and open works and a few others but like the bass plays a tom, so it must be the drum map? How do i edit this?
Thnx!
If you know the DTexplorer it’s probably easier to do it in that.
You just need to edit the pad note so it corresponds with the right note in EZdrummer.
Once you’ve done that, save each pad setting.
Note: If you don’t want to redo the songs you’ve already recorded, just select each ‘wrong’ note in the Cubase note edit window and drag it to the correct note.
You can select like notes together in a group. Like all the notes on C2 for example.
