Hi, I’m new to the product, and I was wondering if there was a way to automate velocity in real time for whatever groove you’re working with. I was wondering if there was a way to do this in the regular standalone version, and also if there was a way to automate like this inside of my DAW.
Loving the product so far, and thank in advance for any help! If this isn’t possible, I definitely think it would be a cool feature to add, as I made some awesome alternating velocity loops by playing with the knob while the loops were playing.
Sorry, a quick edit, I’m using EZDrummer 2. Thanks, guys!
EZdrummer 2 doesn’t have a real time velocity function. There are so many DAWs that work differently so it’s hard to answer that for you. What DAW are you using?

Hi, sorry about that, I’m using Reaper. I haven’t gotten to even try EZDrummer as a VST yet, but I’ll probably be messing around with it later tonight.
Thanks for the quick reply!

There’s a thread on a reaper forum describing how to draw velocity curves. I bet that they are MIDI learnable, so you can can control it with a hardware device. I have, however, never tried it myself 🙂
