Questions About Using MIDI Drum Controller

Hello–

I’m a drummer and getting away from drum loops in my music. I bought a digital drum kit but the samples are not good–so I’m in the market for a drum sampler I can use with my midi drum kit.

How’s the mapping with EZD? Is the GM pretty much pre-set? I don’t want to have to do a lot of mapping tweaks.

Also, what are the sample rates and bit depth of the expansion packs? I record in 24/96 and would like samples at that rate or close.

Lastly, what expansion pack has the best current sounding drums? I play alternative rock like Risa Against and 30 Secounds to Mars–any ex pax have those type drums?
